The James P Grant School of Public Health aims to transform the current system of health delivery through its commitment to quality education and research. As the public health wing of BRAC University, its focus is to provide access to education, research, training and advocacy through integration and innovation. The school uses a multidisciplinary approach to train the next generation of global and national health leaders.

Centre for Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS Research (CeSHHAR), Zimbabwe
The Centre for Sexual Health & HIV/AIDS Research (CeSHHAR) was registered as a trust in 2012, and as a Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO) with Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare in 2014. CeSHHAR conducts research, delivers programmes, and strengthens capacity to inform health policy and programming in Africa and beyond. CeSHHAR partners with Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC), Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife (MoECW), the National AIDS Council (NAC), the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) and international and regional centres of research excellence to provide high quality sexual reproductive health services and determine the impact, uptake and cost effectiveness of novel sexual and reproductive health interventions. CeSHHAR works at the forefront of finding innovative solutions supported by a range of international donors addressing three thematic areas: Key Populations, Sexual and Reproductive Health, and Climate, Environment and Health.

HERD International, Nepal
HERD International is a research and development agency dedicated to generating evidence and informing policy. Their mission involves empowering individuals and communities through collaborative efforts with policy practitioners, researchers, and concerned stakeholders. They are committed to promoting evidence-informed and contextually tailored solutions to address local issues, strengthen systems, and establish best practices, with the ultimate goal of enhancing quality of life.

Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), UK
Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), founded in 1898, was the first institution in the world dedicated to research and teaching in the field of tropical medicine. Our vision is “Healthy lives across the world” and our mission is “Improving health outcomes in disadvantaged populations globally through partnership in research and education”. We are a university and registered charity and work in trusting, strategic and long-standing global partnerships. We partner with NGOs, Governments, Ministries of Health, the NHS, people with lived experience and their communities, industry and academic institutions to deliver effective and equitable interventions improving human health for and with the poorest communities.

LVCT Health, Kenya
LVCT Health is an established Kenyan NGO, registered in 2002, renowned for implementing health programs at scale in Kenya and beyond. Through their vision of Empowered, Healthy, and Resilient Communities, LVCT Health remains a leader in designing and implementing innovative health programs in the areas of HIV, sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, gender-based violence, mental health, and systems strengthening. LVCT Health utilises a research, policy, and practice cycle across our interventions. We provide technical support to governments and stakeholders at regional, national, and county levels to strengthen health systems and deliver high-quality health services. We bridge the gap between communities, facilities, and policies, ensuring the needs of the vulnerable and most marginalised members of society are met. LVCT Health’s unique capabilities include innovative strategies for reaching underserved and vulnerable populations, including adolescents and young people, people living with HIV, survivors of gender-based violence, people with disabilities, sex workers, men who have sex with men, people who inject drugs, and people in prisons. For the GEAR UP project, LVCT Health is the regional technical lead for the East Africa Community of Practice (CoP) – Kenya and Uganda.
